Over 6 sessions, participants will explore the fascinating world of community development and the ethical, practical and cultural issues found within it. Participants will learn about the challenges faced by rural communities in the Global South, such as poverty, migration, and food insecurity, through the examples of Tevel’s work in Chanyanya, Zambia, and Dhungkarka, Nepal. Participants will learn about innovative approaches to address these challenges while reflecting on the sociological and ethical implications of this type of work.
